Also, technical aspects were in the focus, in particular, conditions of infrastructure, needs for improvements and current situation in water saving sphere. In order to fully cover the multifaceted issue of the rational use and conservation of the water resources, human capacity was discussed as well.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> This Dialogue is one of the activities implemented by GIZ in the framework of the EU-funded action \u201cWater Management and Basin Organisations in Central Asia (WMBOCA)\u201d. GIZ also conducted technical training sessions on GIS for specialists of water management organisations in Murgab river basin (in the city of Mary) in the framework WMBOCA. GIS equipment was purchased and handed over to partner organisations as technical support. \u201cWater Management and Basin Organisations in Central Asia (WMBOCA)\u201d is funded by the European Union and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH acting in partnership with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC).
